In this one, I’m gonna talk about my experience and this app process while designing a whole new app from scratch.

Problem Statement

  • In-state like Delhi being the metropolitan city and capital of India, all households in Delhi & NCR will have to pay money to get water at their home. The government is providing X number of free water (20,000 liters of water per month free of charge) to every household.
  • Due to the cleanness purity of water, people use it to order water in their daily lives.
  • In a busy urban lifestyle, people prefer to choose service at their doorstep value time over money
  • Traffic is another problem in metro cities, so busy people choose the smarter ways to deliver products to their doorstep.

Solution Statement

  • Providing users an easy digital solution where can order and schedule their water bottle delivery at their doorsteps. Similar to Big Bastek Daily, Swiggy Genie, or Milk Basket.
  • Since target location and target people are limited still I choose to define quick user persona.Like user from Delhi and NCR and their lifestyles. Vendors who right now supply water bottles right now in the traditional way. The driver who actually delivers at the doorstep.

Firstly I have created User persona, Information Architecture (IA), the i jump to low and high fidelity of wireframes with prototype and then actual User Interface with style guide and prototype.

User Persona

Based on persona we can actually figure out their behaviour their frustration and pain point and goals which can help to find root of the problem

Information Architecture (IA)

Here as there will be three user of this project we need figure features and screens and key elements by defining IA.

User Flow

Here I have covered details End User flow so we can have clarity in later on stages of project.

Low-fidelity wireframes

A lot more scribble and doodle:)

High fidelity wireframes

Style Guide

Style guide is more than just a collection of fonts and colours. It helps several people work on project to keep everything standardised and organised.

After few iterations finalize the color palette

Final Take Away

After some iteration this is final takeaway

Simultaneously with design, I also look out for the clickable prototypes and but here as of now facing some upload issues. I will share soon link in this blog and or post over dribbble.

Please share your views on the same. Share your feedback and suggestion

Happy to hear from you🙂

More shots are coming on Dribbble very soon. Stay tuned and follow me on Dribbble and can connect over Linked in
